28th, Yard Sale to raise “Dollars for Dems” - Godnick Center, Rutland
The Rutland County Democrats are holding a blow-out yard sale – rain or
shine. Do you have items of good quality to donate to the yard sale? Housewares,
knicknacks, sports equipment, small furnishings, toys, books, children’s
items, jewelry, and the like. Don’t leave those treasures in your attic
or basement to collect dust for another year. Here’s your chance to do
some spring cleaning and help raise “Dollars for Democrats.”
Donation Drop-Off
Bring your clean and usable goods (please, no electronics, large
pieces of furniture or stuffed animals) to the yard sale drop-off site
located on Temple Street (behind the Godnick Center – watch for the
signs) on Friday, June 27 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Volunteers will be available to help you unload.
Come Volunteer – We Need You!
In addition to your treasures, we need volunteers, as follows:
Friday, 4:30 PM on – organize and price
donations
Saturday, 6:30 AM – 9 AM (for you early risers) - set-up
Saturday, 9 AM – 2 PM (or some portion of this) - help sell and bag
items
Saturday, 2 PM – 4 PM – Clean-up crew – we’ll need some help taking away
those few items that don’t sell
